The Evolan Design component provides a simple means of designing and managing your lending product portfolios and associated distribution channels.
Evolan Design covers two main sub-processes:
- Definition – creation and maintenance of lending products and their predefined conditions
- Distribution – Rules and decision factors for the distribution of lending products
Product Definition The definition process enables the creation of lending products to meet the specific needs of the bank and their customer base. Many factors influence the configuration of lending products and their characteristics including
- Product target (type of customer, type of project, etc.)
- Price sheet (rates, loan amounts and duration)
- Redemption scheme
- Currency and Fees
- Insurance & Guarantees
- Types of actions and conditions allowed during loan life cycle (disbursements rules, early repayment rules, repayment modulations, repayment postponement, switch to fixed or variable rate phase, etc.)
- Arrears conditions
- Granting rules
- Types of documents to be provided during origination, etc.
- The product definition process facilitates the on-going maintenance of these characteristics on any given product.
Product Distribution The distribution process defines the way in which the products can be distributed and covers the following areas:
- Define the launch date on the market
- Temporarily halt product availability on the market
- Withdrawal of a given product from distribution
Evolan Design is a dedicated module than can be used as a lending product repository for application and origination solutions in addition to loan servicing. |
